God's Amazing Deeds

TODAY’S VERSE

How amazing are the deeds of the LORD! All who delight in him should ponder them. Everything he does reveals his glory and majesty.
Psalms 111:2-3 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
What do you ponder? There are so many things that vie for our attention. So much of our time is spent thinking about our future or our past that we fail to consider God’s greatness in the moment. And when we fail to see God’s glory and majesty in the moment it taints the way we consider the future or the past. So the circle continues. So many our thoughts are considered as if God was not in the picture. The Psalmist reminds us that the Lord’s deeds are amazing and we should spend time pondering them. He assures us that when we do, we will see God’s glory and majesty. Seeing that will effect everything else we think about. Today ponder all that the glorious deed that God is doing.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father, help me to see all that You are doing around me. Help me to stop and ponder all Your amazing deeds. Truly they reveal Your glory and majesty.
