TODAY’S VERSE
And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and theLord gave them rest round about..
II Chronicles 15:15
The Children of Israel had repented. They decided that they wanted to follow God. Today’s text says, “They entered into a covenant to seek the LORD, the God of their ancestors, with all their heart and soul.” This is where it starts. It starts with an earnestness to find God and ends with a deep spiritual commitment to follow Him with all your heart and soul. That is what Jeremiah meant when he quoted God saying, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” The question is, “Have you made a covenant with God to seek Him with all your heart and soul?” Is He the Lord of your life? If not, settle it today. Commit yourself to Him.
TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father, today I commit myself to earnestly seek You and Your will with all my heart and soul. Be the Lord of my life I pray. In Jesus’ name I pray.
